This could have turned out to be a nightmare holiday. I had confirmed reservations for two beachfront bungalows and when my family and I arrived, I was given a seaview family bungalow instead. The staff told me no beachfront bungalows were available and they were "upgrading" me automatically. What nonsense! No asking what my preferences are etc! I refused to accept the seaview because it was a vast difference from beachfront. They then reluctantly tried to give me two beachfront bungalows (which had poor views) which they apparently pulled from nowhere, and tried to make me accept them. I was extremely unhappy at the poor treatment I received. I complained and demanded to speak to the manager. To cut a long story short, they spoke to their GM and we were given the pool villa. Ok, fair enough. But that's not the end of it. I wanted a baby cot and was given a toddler bed. Asking them to change to a cot took me more than an hour because of the poor English spoken by the staff. Then the cot did not have suitable bedding (too low mattress, no bumper) so my poor baby was bumping her head every night. The worst was, they did not fix up a mosquito net, and when I saw my baby the next morning, I nearly had a heart attack for her face was covered with THIRTEEN big, red, swollen insect bites. If you're going to stay here, beware!
