Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang Hotel

"Very nice hotel. Carpet was a little old but clean enough. Spacious room with 2 double beds. Nice garden restaurant, the top floor cafe has billard tables, good view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Taxi and cyclo ( tricycle) stand just outside of the hotel. The beach acrross the road is beautiful with drink/service provided by hotel staff. I will come back. ( I was in 5 stars hotel in Saigon, New World hotel was not better than this)"

"Smalll things like stains on the carpet, windows that make viewing your nieghbours too easy and sporadic mini bar stuff replacement detract from the 4 star rating - we expected more but the staff were friendly. The location is bordering the edge of the action ( Sailing Club, La lousianne, Shortys, Kims etc), the pool area is lovely but there was often no staff at the bar/snack bar there. The red Onion restaurant was nice enough but the chef didn't have a clear idea about some international dishes e.g. Spaghetti Carbonara is not loaded with chunks of onion. English newspapers in the lobbby were over a week out of date, gift shop prices were reasonable and housekeeping was quick to respond to special requests e.g extra pillows. All in all a nice stay but not quite worthy of an interational 4 star rating."
