We had a great time at the Vinpearl! It's an excellent choice for families with (young) children as the resort's location (on an island) shields you from the "raw edge" of Vietnam. Staff is the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered during a holiday, the price/quality of the rooms (we had a Deluxe Suite) is among the best. Our daughter (and we also) enjoyed the waterpark and amusement park a lot - you just pay 30USD per person (21USD for children) and you can go there as often as you want during your stay. The pools are huge and clean. There never is a shortage for sunbeds and ...

This hotel is located on an island with shallow beach and a lot of entertainment for kids (Vinpearl Lands). Room with ocean view is a must...

The pools are huge and clean. There never is a shortage for sunbeds and due to the huge size of the main pool, there never is a feeling of crowdiness. The sea is excellent, although wind picks up in the afternoon and this can lead to a choppy sea. Transport to the mainland is either by cable car (free if you have this pass to access the amusement park) or by speedboat (free for hotel guests).

It was a rainy day and most of the rides at the ourdoor theme park and shops at the shopping mall are either closed or no customer visiting. It was raining throughout the duration on my stay (3D2N). Not a very good sound proof wall. I can hear the other guest voices from the room next door.

There was major maintenance going on at the hotel and there was no notification of the hours when this would occur. The maintenance continued until late at night which is unacceptable when you are on holiday.

I didn't care for this venue. On the three occasions when I ate meals at the venue I felt ill afterwards. I think the amusment park and cable car system ruins a naturally beautiful place. Getting to and from downtown is a difficult process - service directly downtown would be helpful. I also think the resort is price gouging. One can eat a comparable meal for a tenth of the price in downtown Nha trang. I would make an effort to do the research to find a venue in Nha Trang itself before I would stay here unless you require the isolation of the resort itself.

Vinpearl is a fantastic place to stay if you want to get away from it all. After a 10 minute boat ride and a 5 minute bus ride you arrive from the mainland at Vinpearl. When we first arrived we walked into the reception area with cheesy Christmas decorations and were seated with a welcome drink. The customer service at Vinpearl is fantastic nothing is too much trouble for the staff to do. The swimming pool and the facilities at Vinpearl are fantastic. Vinpearl is a great place to stay only if you want to get away from it all as the trip to the main land becomes a bit of a pain if your going back and forth.
