Good location however, limited language skills made it difficult to be understood particularly in the restaurant. Also, staff stand over you in the restaurant when you are getting your money out of your wallet, an invasion of basic privacy.

firm beds with down duvets and pillows! no bedcover at all, so you don't have to wonder when it was last cleaned! large room, lovely ornate furnishings and non-smelly wardrobe to store your clothes. quiet. the hotel had the ambiance of being in an "imperial city" with all the detailed furnishings and woodwork. overlooks the river, peaceful with a breeze. felt like we were at a luxurious private home! on a main road, and it is close to the bridge so access to the water based tours of the tombs was excellent. very safe.
