Rated #6 for all Hoi An hotels
the only thing that was wrong with the hotel was that as it is in the countryside the smoke from the rice fields was really annoying as you were lying at the pool....

This is a truly beautiful place to stay. Our room overlooked the river and because of its location it was really peaceful..the grounds have tropical plants and a pond with fish in it . The breakfast area also overlooks the river but on the down side I thought the staff ran the place to suit themselves and not the guests. I was told off for asking for tea just after 10 as it closes at 10 and on some days they started clearing up at about 9.30 which made you feel uncomfortable. Despite this I'd definately stay there again.

Beautiful property 5 kim outside of Hoi An. All resorts in this area are out of town (except for LIFE) which is only slightly inconvenient since the hotel has shuttle service and taxis are plentiful and cheap. Lighting in room was awful - can't read anywhere it was so dim. One of our rooms had no hot water for the duration. Explanations regarding this made little sense. Staff are great otherwise - friendly and (generally) very informative.

A pleasant relaxing hotel with good staff that I would recommend. I was happy with the room rate given but the hotel charges for drinks, meals, services etc were so high they were almost bizarre as few people used them, especially as alternatives at a fraction of the price existed within a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Hotel embience and quality of the food is excellent. However, we found the rooms a little run down and lacked creativity in design and furnishings.

Excellent service, friendly stafff, both indoor and outdoor staff- included the 'extras'. Perhaps suggest a more regular bus service into Hoi An old town- and cheaper drink/food prices. Other than this - an outstanding venue in an outstanding setting.

The highlight of the Riverside Resort no doubt for us was the beautifully warm inviting Pool after a hard days shopping & sightseeing. We enjoyed many a late night's swim relaxing in the largish Pool. Our rooms were more than adequate and comfortable, large Shower area, excellent bed and furnishings. We loved Hoi An, a quaint place which requires much exploring, both gastronomically and visually. The many eatieries along the river in the Town were superbly priced and variety was fabulous. The hotel had a shuttle bus to/fro the Beach & Town a few times a day which was very good. Taxis were cheap if the schedules didn't suit. The Resort is a little way from the action but in some ways this added to its uniqueness. Breakfasts were buffet style with many choices. We definitely would stay here again.

The most tranquil and idyllic retreat, away from the noise of the town, with fabulous views on working agricultural lands. This is a place where one can experience a real sense of escape. Great food, but a little on the expensive side compared to the food and drinks in town. I loved the lanterns floating down the river at night.

This hotel is about a ten minute ride by taxi from Hoi An town, an oasis from the tourist shops and crowds. The tours the hotel arranges are very expensive, compared to the cost of booking a tour with one of the agencies in town. The hotel felt like Vietnam, not a Western chain, and was very comfortable and luxurious. We ate most of our meals at the hotel because the food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. The setting of the dining area (open air, on a small river) was lovely.
