Phu Thinh II is an excellent value hotel, rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel is a little further out of the centre of Hoi An but I view this as a positive as its not as busy and its quite a nice walk/ride into the old town. We had a fantastic time at Phu Thinh II we originally booked to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 5 nights as we enjoyed Hoi An and the hotel so much. The only downside was that the breakfast wasnt the best. But overall this hotel was one of the cleanest hotels we stayed. Would recommend staying here....

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel although it was only one night. I'd love to go back to this hotel some day. It was very cozy...the room was beautiful and quiet since it was on a higher floor at the back. It was great having a balcony, too. Very pleasant staff, in general.

The view of the hotel from the street is ordinary and reception area quite small but the rooms, their facilities and view from our rear balcony (pool, restaurant, duck pond and ricepaddies) was superb. Day Tours booked through the Hotel very cheap, but great value for money. Buffet breakfast was comprhensive and included an egg chef to prepare your eggs to your taste. Hotel pool clean and enjoyable after a days touring. Shower over bath and it a high step to enter. Care needs to be taken when exiting shower. Beds very comfortable and mosquito canopy over each bed unnecessary as room both airconditioned and heated. Valuables need to be sealed in an envelope and lodged in Hotel safe. A safety deposit box in each room would be an advantage. Staff very friendly. Lots to see in the area and tailiors make great clothes in 24 hours at very reasonalbe prices. Taxi from Danang Airport USD$10 O/W.
