I was very happy with my stay at the Vien Dong Hotel. The room was very large compared to other rooms in Asia, and everything was up to propoer standards. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent, both in variety and quality. Location was good with a park across the street used by many local people for exercise and relaxation, especially at night. Felt safe and comfortable in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Saigon....

The location is very ideal for tourists because it is at the heart of the city. The hotel is very accessible to everything a tourist should need like restaurants, shops, travel & tour services & even a Catholic church so we were glad we didnt miss the Sunday Mass while on vacation. It is also very decent, clean & afforadable. It has also free internet connection in the room. I think the hotel needs to provide enough chairs or space for breakfast buffet as during peak hours we find ourselves standing with our plate & waiting for a few minutes to get settled. Over all, we are happy with our stay & will definitely recommend Viendong Hotel for tourists who want to get value of their money.

I regularly choose this hotel as my standard lodging for Saigon; price is good and everything is clean - and the internet connection, though still not to US standards, is pretty good for Asia - and at no extra charge. I am quite pleased with the Vien Dong Hotel.

It i s easy to access to the Ben Thanh Market and the Bus Tarminal. Many good restaurants are near from it.The room we stayed was clean and large, friendly staffs. We will choose this hotel next time again.

We had thought this hotel would not be great, but were surprised as it is quite modern. The only problem was in the mornings through the window facing the corrider/hallway/balconies there was alot of noise. however would highly recommend. booking on hotel travel was much cheaper than going without a booking. It cost US$90 for a triple share without making a reservation.

Staff is friendly and accomodating; rooms are clean and quiet if not on the street side; location is good. Only personal dissapointment was the breakfast buffet which offered no eggs of any kind during my stay due to the chicken flu scare. Excellent hotel for the price paid. Would definitely stay there again.
