The breakfast is good, staff is friendliness. It's located in the safe and secure area.
But i think the noise level is a bit high, when i'm inside my room i can here some people talking outside sometimes.i think you, hotel travel, should add information about Wi-Fi. Some hotel in Vietnam provide in as free, but some you have to pay. Menno Geert Frankfort, Netherlands

I would stay at this hotel again, as it's in a very convenient location. Rooms are clean and staff are helpful. Breakfast is good. Although rooms are not very big, it's good enough for a short stay. Shopping is just a 2 mins walk across the road. kerry haustead, Australia
Loved the Duxton and its friendly staff. The rooms are of good size. The location good although in Saigon you really need to catch a cab everywhere as its too busy to cross the roads. Good restaurants out side your front door from the hotel though. The rooms are still in good order but bathrooms are not that exciting, but clean and comfortable. We would stay again. Oh the breakfast was wonderful. Rolf Prager, Australia
Ideally situated for river, markets, shopping and restaurants, and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful. Thoroughly recommended. Chetan Isharani, India
Superb Breakfast. Smallish hotel, quieter nights. Well managed and clean. Excellent location. A HotelTravel.com Member, Australia
The hotel was beautifully decorated. Location is ok, but there are quite a few dodgy people that hang around the front which makes the walk to the shops a little unpleasant. Staff were pretty helpful, although the language barrier made some Qs a little difficult for them to answer. Breakfast buffet was lovely, good variety of pastries, asian/western style food & fresh fruit. A HotelTravel.com Member, Australia
The Duxton is in a good location within walking distance to the main tourist area , shops restarants.Taxis readily available and pleasant staff. Room was quiet, reasonably spacious with room for a small lounge was good. Breakfast good choice available...Don't expect to lounge by the pool there are only 2 loungers but great for laps. Value for money stay. A HotelTravel.com Member, Italy
Good location, too expensive for a 4-stars in HoChiMinh City. No travel desk service, you have to do on your own, like a 2 or 3 star Hotel. Not suggested for business travel.
Moreover the internet connection was adveritsed to be free for executive rooms, while they charged me 17 USD (!) a day. Only after they told me it was free if I used wireless. A sort of a trick. Annette Dutton, Australia
The Duxton, HoChiMinh City is a very pleasant property. It is well located, the rooms are a good size, the bathroom very clean and appealing. The concierge was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good particularly the waffles made to order. Check out was excellent, fast, efficient, accurate and professional. All round we were very pleased with our stay at the Duxton and will both recommend this hotel to others as well as choose Duxton properties in the future. |
