After a tiring two weeks we were looking for a hotel to relax in for 24 hours before our international flight. The Renaissance met all our requirements. The room was comfortable, clean and of good size, if I was being pedantic I could describe the decore as being a little dated. We ordered room service which was very good. The buffet breakfast was up to the standard found in most quality Vietnam hotels. The staff were friendly and we were given a complementary late check out to 2.00pm due to having a evening flight. The internet booking price was good value for money. I would recommend the Renaissance for short term stay. David Hlton, United Kingdom
The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the central area of Ho Chi Minh but well worth using.
The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and the service was excellent. The roof top pool, whilst not huge was fine and the views superb. There are lots of restaurants nearby and would recommend Jaspas and Vietnam House with excellent food reasonably priced. John Illsley, United Kingdom
It was clean, well maintained overlooking the river. Location is excelllent. Ho Chi minh is not a quiet city. The hotel even in its central location was quiet. We were not bothered by other guest noise. Staff coulkd not have more cour\rteous, and helpful. their English was really good. Breakfast - a buffet - was really good. Our late arrival and early checkout were no problem at all. We would go back anytime John Illsley, United Kingdom
A really good hotel in a great central attractive location A HotelTravel.com Member, United States
Beautiful hotel, very nice, clean, but not spectacular rooms. Saigon is a very noisy city, but rooms were very quiet. Very good club level facilities w/free internet and wifi. Friendly staff, and excellent breakfast buffet. Very good value for the price I paid. Highly recommended, and would definitely would choose this hotel again. A HotelTravel.com Member, United Kingdom
Stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed with the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for business and leisure. A HotelTravel.com Member, Switzerland
Well located, staff sometimes too inquisitive with regards to facillities offered by the hotel to the hosts. Yap Beng Choon, Malaysia
It can be a bit noisy being at the corner of a couple of feeder streets. Hotel is quite clean and the staff are friendly. A HotelTravel.com Member, Philippines
Breakfast was very good and hotel staff tried to make up for delay in room availability by providing complimentary drinks while waiting. Rooms/linen were clean and taxis readily available. Didn't try other food oultets except for breakfast at coffee shop. Hotel staff are generally friendly and acommodating. Good value for money comparatively. Ruth Walters, Canada
The hotel charged us about $85.00 US to do about a dozen articles of clothing(all were drycleaned and not just laundered, as they could have been)which we were shocked with! The carpets on the floor were dirty and the hotel supplied transit to the hotel cost us about $30.00US, when normally you'd pay about $6.00US with a metered taxi. I know you live and learn but this hotel is way out of line with extemely expensive hidden costs and sticking it to people. This hotel was the biggest dissapointment because of that reason, especially to first timers! |
