My only comment would be that housekeeping would coming to clean the room late in the afternoon, like 4 30 - 5pm which is the time that guests are usually returning the hotel after a day out. Otherwise its a very good hotel great location and very friendly cooperative staff. I would definitely recommend it to my friends....

The hotel staff were very helpful and the exchange rate offered by the hotel was very fair Rooms not too large but certainly clean and adequate. The hotel restaurant served a range of food at reasonable prices, around American dollars $4.50. The breakfast was excellent and all in all for the price we paid we were more than happy. Would suggest to any travellers not to take the bicycle vendors who quote a cheap price then do not deliver you back to the hotel, leaving you opposite so you have to challenge the daunting crossing so that the hotel bellboys cannot challenge the driver. They appear to be so friendly with reasonable english but then become very arrogant and charge you probably 4 times as much as a taxi would have cost you

Friendly staff, guest rooms are kept in good condition. The only thing short is a box of tissue paper inside the room. I appreciate the free internet access at the lobby area. Tour desk at the hotel only offers private tours. Daily tour from travel agents outside offer tours much much cheaper and in high quality.

Interesting location on border between tourist area and poorer district, adds to character. An older building which has been comfortably and most adequately reburbished.Quiet rooms at the rear are best because of possible street and disco noise at the front. No significandt complaints, every worked and we were fortunate enough to have one of the quiet rooms. Staff were prompt and tried to assist as far as possible. It is in general a most satisfactory hotel as long as you get a quiet room and enjoy genuine local atmosphere as opposed to pure tourist oriented areas (which are more expensive. I would stay there again.

The room is small and there has no extra space to walk at all. It is definately too smalll for a triple room. Somehow, the location is safe and it is a secure area. The breadfast is fantansic and we do enjoyed very much during our stays. Will consider of staying there again.

A functional city hotel. We chose the hotel for its central location and perfectly adequate swimming pool – great after a hot days sightseeing. Wouldn’t have wanted to see a standard room though. Our "Deluxe Triple" had one small window that looked out onto the grubby hotel interior. A/C and fridge barely worked. Room too small for a triple. Restaurant/food good and staff very courteous and helpful.

I like most about this hotel is the people. I found the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful in answer and provide all the info about VN, where to go, how to get there.... I feel the room is a little small especially the bathroom. The hotel cafeteria had excellent hot breakfast and lunch with all the goodies.

Our room consisted of a sitting room and separate bedroom with a most comfortable futon bed. Bathroom very tiny and step into shower/bath dangerous. Rooms nearby being refurbished and consequently noisy during daytime. Best rooms overlooked pool and if staying there again we would insist on booking one of these rooms. Hotel travel should quote prices specifically for these rooms. Food and beverages available around pool and room service very good and reasonably priced. Main hotel restaurant which served excellent food was closed on two evenings (with a sign at the door) because of a wedding and a convention dinner. Outside restaurants one block to walk. An up market supermarket about 400m from the hotel. outside hotel worth exploring and tours arranged through hotel extremely cheap and good value. Computer facilities in room adjacent to lobby and lots of tables and chairs in lobby where you can wait for a tour pick-up or airport transfer.

Nice hotel in an area easy to walk and get around in. Staff is very friendly and competent. Room and bathroom were small but clean. Room size was not critical because I was there to enjoy wonderful HCMC/Saigon, not stay in the room. Would stay there again.

There was construction going on while we were staying in February 2005 but the noise was kept to a minimum. High-tea was served in the afternoons, in the foyer area, for a couple of US Dollars. The swimming pool was well used by us during our stay as the weather was quite hot and humid. We wouldn't stay in any hotels in Asia without a pool. They are a necessity! We found the staff helpful but the tours purchased through the hotel were for "cattle class". The groups were big asnd we felt we missed out on a few of the advertised sights because of this and the traffic. Overall: We would stay in the Metroploe again as the location was good for us.
