Rated #14 for all Ho Chi Minh hotels
Spent two nights before departure home. First time in Ho Chi Minh. Not youngsters so like to have calm and comfortable stay. Appartments Premium Delux. Everything cost the money we paid.Sight from the window might be better but not so importatnt for people who stay so short time. Location is quite perfect, just next door to main shopping center, 10 minutes walk to Diamond Plaza. Surrounded by two small shopping plaza, similar to Diamond. Notre Damne Cathedral of 10 minutes walk, river - same but at another direction. Better to take city excursion to visit historical places (not so many as we ex...

Kimdo Hotel is very well situated - in the heart of the city and very convenient and accessible to most shopping areas. The room and toilet is clean, neat and tidy, toilet is a little small. The TV programme is great. The staffs at the reception is very helpful and is able to attend to my request. Overall it's a nice hotel but a price is alittle high for a deluxe room with King size bed which we stayed in.

European service of 4*, including Buffet breakfast. Consider even better than Rex Hotel (opposite in a road) as not so big and may be not so luxurious but still not worse. Due to the central location you won't be at the heart of original Veitnamese life, so perhaps do not feel "sense, smell and colour" of Vietnam people. We saw it enough in Nha Trang while before vacation, so were pleased to find another "life". So very positive and pleasant hotel.

We are 3 adults from Norway sharing a triple room. Heard about this hotel and wasn't disappointed. Good value for money. It is clean, spacious and central to all the restaurants, entertainment, shops.Wide variety of food at the breakfast buffet, friendly stuff. Aircondition function as it should. We left on a 5 day tour to central Vietnam and left some of our luggage for safekeeping at the hotel without extra cost. They even packed us a box breakfast as we had to leave for the airport at 3 a.m. This is certainly a hotel I would use again in the future if ever I should come to Ho Chi Minh City again.

The location is pretty good. I stayed good grade room but price was very good. On the other hand room is not so much excellent. No view from windows I could see walls and not so much quiet. If stay cheaper the hotel should be good.

Location is very convenient, within walking distance of many of the highlights of HCMC. The breakfast was very good. The baguettes were great, the fruit selection was extensive, and the choice of other breakfast items, both eastern and western, was extensive. If the coffee had been better, our rating would have been "excellent".

The room is very spacious and spotlessly clean. Centrality is its best asset. Although, the staff struggles with English, the sincerity and quality of customer service far outweighs this inadequacy.

The staff at this hotel is extraordinary. The only downside of the hotel is that it is in the middle of tourist-central, so you see a lot of visitors and don't get a great sense of the rest of the city. But, if you make plans to see other parts of the city, you'll be fine. Also -- we were at the Kimdo during Tet and it could not have been more centrally located - we were right in the middle of the main festivities - and the hotel even threw a party for guests. I would definitely recommend a stay.

All hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As an overall, the rating for this hotel is definitely better than a 3 star.
