Fabulous experience. When using the free internet late at night the doorman gave me a glass of water. Welcome drink on arrival was most welcome. Staff organized taxi to airport, where happy to store luggage overnight and just for a new hours. Great location opposite nice park, near to many tourist offices and the markets. I would definataly stay there again.
Please be patient…

No sound insulation between rooms meant you could hear every bodily function of the net door neighbour. Stayed in a guest house for a fraction of the cost and only marginally less in terms of facilities.Hotel Facilities

Elios is in district 1 - very central to TOURIST VENUES with your chosen mode of transport. Central to walking safely around district one to the tourist venues; bars-Rex Hotel in particular with its Roof Garden and Band nightly from 8.30pm to 11pm; restaurants, The Market,Vietnamese coffee shops. Arts and Crafts shops from hugely economical to pricy - both excellent quality cotton; silk and leather goods. The staff were brilliant, along with all the facilities offered.Hotel Facilities

Our 3-bed room was not available when we arrived due to a broken air conditioner but the reception staff were very apologetic and organised another (smaller double room) for the first night (of 3 nights) with the 3rd bed squeezed in after some furniture removal and re-arranging. The next day they transferred us to our proper room which was quite spacious. For our trouble, they waived the breakfast fee for 3 mornings for the extra person/bed. The location was good albeit a little noisy. The views from the restaurant were fantastic. Breakfast changed a little each day for variety and the one night we ate in the restaurant was very pleasant. Our flight to Sydney left in the evening (well after checking out) and we had hoped to be able to shower in a room prior to leaving but there was no room available for us to use. We were given access to the restroom facilities in the basement but they weren't much good. The staff were pleasant and the doormen/porters were very friendly and polite.Hotel Facilities

Candice from Singapore stayed in a Standard for 3 days.
Fantastic location right in the heart of the backpacker district. A plethora of cafes, pubs and restaurants right next door. Staff were very friendly and polite at all times, and at check-in we were greeted at the front desk by a bellboy with glasses of pineapple juice. It's little touches like that which make a stay memorable!
We had initially booked a deluxe room with a window but were instead given a standard room with no window because we requested a king bed. Deluxe is twin sharing only. The lack of window didn't bother us though, because we were out and about most of the time. In fact I believe a window would have made the room prone to outside noise. As it was, our room was cosy and very quiet. The sheets, pillows and towels were pristine and smelled heavenly. The minibar was fully stocked, as were the bathroom amenities. No bathtub, but a very nice, strong shower with hot and cold water. When we called down to request two extra pillows, they arrived very promptly and with a smile. The TV reception was mildly plagued by static, but it wasn't too bothersome, and there were more than enough local and cable channels to keep us satisfied.
We only used the restaurant for breakfast on two mornings out of the three we were there, but both times there was an excellent spread of both Vietnamese and continental fare.
We'll definitely stay at the Elios again the next time we're in HCMC!Hotel Facilities

Fake goods everywhere, including 'copy' taxi. Taxi in front of hotel removed 'taxi' sign and so-called company logo magnetic label after a deal was struck to go to the airport! Refused to take this taxi and hailed another licensed taxi instead.Hotel Facilities

The hotel is not that near from Ben Thanh Market, as adverstised, but can be reached via walking but have to take a taxi going back to the Hotel when you've got goods bought from Ben Thanh Market. Exceptional staff - receptionists, bellboys, housekeeping staff & dining area staff. Reception staff speak English that can be understood by foreigners, big help in going around Ho Chi Minh. Staff were generally gentle & courteous even in dealing with very demanding guests. Facilities were clean - room, beddings, dining area. Would definitely recommend Elios Hotel to my friends.Hotel Facilities

Good centrally located hotel with everything in reach by walk. Could only get a standard room without window... but you become used to coz if you dont stay in room all the time. Well, I could say the Hotel is in tourist area where there are many cafes and restaurants around it. The cleanliness of the room is good but i might say that the size of the room is a bit small. The service and breakfast is quite good as well. The staff at Elios Hotel is friendly and helpful. As the traffic of Ho Chi Minh is quite "messy", the bellboy is always willing to guide us across the road. This is something that we really appreciate. The condition of hotel is also much better than what we thought initially, as compare to the price we paid for the accommodation. It will definitely be our first selection if we were to go to Ho Chi Minh again.Hotel Facilities

Chantelle from Australia stayed in a Superior for 5 days.
Very clean and modern hotel. Buffet breakfast was average, however dinner and lunch menu good! The staff did not speak much English, so very hard to communicate. We paid for a room with a window, however the windows are VERY small and not worth having as windows! The hotel can also be noisy so request a room at the back of block. The porters however are very friendly and helpful. Location is great and easy walking distance to everything you need in HCMC. Overall good value for money and would stay again for a short stay!Hotel Facilities

This is my first visit to HCMC. I realised that for developing country the hotel are quite pricy.-priced. Elios Hotel is quite new and the staff are overall very friendly and helpful but the facilities are very basic. Standard room are small w/o window and Superior Room size ok but only comes with a tiny window but facing the wall....there are many small shop around the hotel but to walk to market are still quite far. Taxi are easily acessiable and cheap ( by meter). On the first day after we check in, we were robbed just outside the hotel by 2 men on motorbike! Within split seconds, i lost my HP and camera.. so be very careful when you are on the road, always sling your bags away from the road!!!Hotel Facilities
