THe room is big and comfortable plus air conditioned. Its setting is French like era. THe staff are friendly and try to meet your needs even with language barrier. The hotel is located in front of big park at the center of Saigon and within walking distance to most of Saigon attraction. My wife and I spend great time walking from hotel to most of Saigon attraction like Memorial Museum, War Museum, "Central" market. Saigon is a very good place to visit and open our mind on the definition of STRUGGLE and INDEPENDENCE...

My family (2 adults/3 children) found this hotel to be quite satisfactory. The location was excellent...within walking distance to everything. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was large & clean...not special, but sufficient for our needs. The air conditioner was noisy & did keep us up a bit in the night. The breakfast buffet was actually quite nice. This is a decent budget hotel.

I have sty for 4day with 1 superior n 1 deluxe room. This hotel is strategically located, only 20 minutes away from airport. 15 minutes walking distance to nearby attraction like ben thanh market and war museum. The morning breakfast is average because it repeats everyday same- fried rice, meehoon, ham, omellete n toasted bread, poridge. Room is big enough because there is a small living room with 2+1 sofa, dining table n air-cond. There is a safety box in every room. Deluxe room come with a bathtub but not for superior n standard. I agree that the trips offered by the hotel is quite expensive. So it is recommended to ask for taxi driver outside. Going around HCMC is by taxi meter, price around $1-3 dollar. I also hire a private taxi driver for 1 day trip to Cu Chi Tunnel & Mekong River. Is a van can be seated by 7 person. I only paid for $110 dollar. During my way back, i even ask the driver to stop at ChinaTown and also bring me to buy their Famous coffee. Of coz, no extra charge, haha! The ppl in HCMC is mostly dont speak well english or not at all. So remember to bring a map n calculator to show them. The hotel does not provide a map, but i manage to get a color picture map from Renaissance Hotel. Overall is satisfy n value for money with this 3star hotel.

Location is good if you like lots of greenery because park is opposite the hotel. Only problem is traffic but its the same everywhere in HCMC. Staff is OK but not very friendly compared to the other hotels we have stayed in HCMC. Breakfast is boring because they are the same everyday. OK for western food but not so for oriental ones. overall is value for money.

The room is big. The location is ok. But there is no coffee/tea making facilities. Because we have two little boys, we need hot water to make milk every day. We have to call for hot/cold water few times a day. It takes about half an hour to get the water. Not adviseble for guest with little children.

The hotel was a good base from which to travel around Saigon. Trips if you took then from the hotel were expensive. The rooms were clean cool and it was nice to have a suite, for the price of a single room. All rooms are suites at this hotel.
I would use again.

The rooms were spacious, with a bedroom and a main hall. It was lacking a bathtub though, but very good value for money and very friendly and nice staff.

Not bad for the money. Staff does not really speak english. The location is a 1.5 USD cab ride away from the main part of town but there is not much right around the hotel.

I thought that the staff were not very friendly, and I'd go so far to say they were even slightly cold. The only staff that displayed any kind of personality was the room service people, who were quite friendly. During my stay, I had been mugged and the front desk staff really had no idea about how to provide me with something as simple as a phone book to cancel my credit cards. They made no attempt to be helpful whatsoever. The restaurant was sketchy at best, the only time there appeared to be full service was in the morning during the buffet -- which was quite good, but the rest of the day the place was empty and you almsot felt as if you were bothering the restaurant staff. The room itself was smaller than I had anticipated, but it did have a great view. The location was on the beach front, which was nice, but there really wasn't any place to go. The staff were not very helpful in giving directions, in fact, we were better off asking other tourists.
