The room was a good size but very outdated and underneath the beds hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Most of the staff were very friendly a couple not that helpful though. Internet was down for a great part of my stay so i had to go elsewhere and pay for this.

Breakfast was very good with choice of Western and Asian food. In room minibar prices were so cheap! Not worth going outside to find a store! Location of this hotel is perfect. A 5 minute stroll to the Ben Thanh Market and walk to Notre Dame, Opera House, Reunification Palace etc .We stayed in a standard room which was advertised as having in room wifi. This only sometimes worked but we were abe to take our laptop into the foyer and plug it into cable which worked well.In fact we have been away from Saigon for a few days and have actually returned to the Asian, but this time to a deluxe room which is over twice the size and a private balcony attached. The wifi also works well.

A rather bland hotel, with no good features, and no real bad ones either. It was marginally just about worth the money.

A hotel staff was very rude and disrespectful. Bathroom floor did not look clean. dusts and lots of hair (not mine) on the bathroom floor. Glass was dirty. It looked like roach crap on the bottom of the glass. Satellite TV suppose to have HBO, CNN, NHK. These channels were not available most of the time. Good location

The receptionists have a hard time talking and understanding the English language. With regards to the rooms, as a family we should have been given rooms that are on the same floor. Instead, we were surprised when we got to the hotel and checked in because we had rooms that are on separate floors.

It was great to be right in the center of Ho chi Minh City, however we found the staff the only unfriendly vietnamese people we met and our room was rather derelict.
