The staff of this hotel are excellent. From the minute you step out of the taxi you are taken care of. Front desk staff do their best to accomodate your requests. Domestic staff are friendly and respect your privacy. Wish I could have stayed longer, and looking forward to my next stay at Sofitel Plaza Hanoi....

We were extremely disappointed to learn upon our arrival that the pool was closed for maintenance during our entire stay. One of the reasons we selected to stay at this property was because of the pool. It would have been nice to have been informed of this PRIOR to our arrival. On another note, we had problems with a taxi driver who overcharged us and when we arrived at the hotel the security people were more than efficient in taking care of this problem. We were very impressed with the quality of customer service at the property.

Have already stayed in this hotel 6-7 times since 1999, biggest advantage is its all weather swimming pool and health club facilities, gym etc., further, lake view from the room is realy nice, nice way to work during evening from the working table in the room with such view. Staff friendly, chef friendlier, since I am vegeterian, they always eagerly prepared veg dish of my liking. Overall healthy and good experience.
