We stayed in the Nikko for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay there very much. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The concierge went out of her way to help us book day trips during the New Year celebration when almost everyone was on holiday. The room was very large, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was nice and large. The only problem was the carpet was stained a little, but they provide very nice slippers so that was no problem. They also supplied nice robes, as well as coffee/tea service that was replenished every day. The location of the Nikko is a bit further away from th...

Room size is good- but room service- particularly food was very poor- not much to choose. Location is central- but nothing around- have to get a taxi to go to restaurant or shopping- cannot walk. In general- I think the room was good- but everything else was poor.

The location of the Nikko is a bit further away from the Old Quarter than some of the other hotels, but we were always able to get a nice taxi at the hotel, and it only took about 10 min. to get to restaurants and shops. The taxis were very inexpensive. The Nikko is just a block away from a nice small lake and park, so it is a good location. All in all, we had a very good stay there, and would recommend it highly.
