Location is good. However the hotel's front rooms were terribly noisy from the continuous traffic. Altho' the rms are aircon, we were unable to catch any sleep on our 1st nite stay there. We managed to request a change to the rear rooms for our subsequent stay which were quiet but smaller. However the staff were helpful & friendly.

The room was very smal. The staff had no idea about hoteltravel.com- so therefore tried to charge me again for the room (actaully tried 3 times). But it is in a good location. Considering I didn't pay over $10US for any other rooms whilst staying in Vietnam- I thought this one is over priced. I stayed in rooms for US$4 which were of the same standard as this room.

The hotel is family run and they are all friendly and helped us organize our tours. However, we did arrange with them to organize pick up from the train station when back from one of the tours and no one showed up, so we were left stranded. Also, although the internet service in the hotel is free, rarely do you manage to log on to the net so we preferred to use internet cafe round the corner which was not free but very cheap, faster and was working properly at all hours of the day and night.
The first room we stayed in, didn't have a proper bath tub but just a hose pipe. However the second room we were given had a more decent bathroom. Unfortunately, I found a very big Roach (the size of a stone) in the bedroom before we checked out. One other resident at the hotel found a Roach in his room too!.
