Unfortunately I have to confess that my visit to Hanoi has been partially spoiled by my stay at Hanoi Hotel: the service is not at the level of what you pay (while other hotels in Hanoi offer better services and cleaner rooms for the same cost..) and the rooms are too old (and, by the way, the safe did not work in my room). Last but not least, remove the casino and the slot machines from the ground floor..too noisy..
