Rated #26 for all Hanoi hotels
Whilst it is not in the Old Quarter, it is only five minutes away by taxi. It is within 10 minutes or so of the main tourist points of interest in Hanoi. Curiously the taxis parked outside the hotel or those which were called and arrived within a couple of minutes of the hotel, were cheaper than taxis hailed on the street. They were of a high standard also. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were welcomed with a Christmas cake and bottle of red wine. Despite being away from home we still felt quite festive with all the decorations and the Christmas music playing in the hotel. The reception st...

For the price this is not a bad choice. The staff were very good and the doorman was very helpful! The rooms were a good size and well appointed but were in definate need of new carpets and perhaps a paint touch up. Beds were hard by North American standards but the rooms were clean and very quiet. We chose a second floor room looking over a very busy street and couldn't hear any of the street noise. Life on the street was fascinating to watch. The food is mediocre but the top floor restaurnat offers great views of Hanoi. All in all a good deal for the money and we would stay there again.

The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and did not expect to be tipped. Though of course we did - they deserved it. The room and bathroom were a good size, clean and well-appointed. Everything was in good working order. Money changing was no problem as long as you have mastered the technique of getting safely across the road to the jewellery store opposite. The money changers are at the rear.

The Green Park was perfect for our stay in Hanoi. It was walking distance to the main tourist attractions, bars & restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful & helped make our stay a very enjoyable one.

This hotel is long overdue a refurbishment. The bathroom was appaling with mould everywhere. Carpets were threadbare, and furniture was of a very basic, poor standard. There were minimum hotel facilities, a tiny bar with a couple of shabby chairs. The reception/concierge desk offered limited tourist information and apart from the manager, the staff had poor English. We had booked a superior room, and I dread to think what the other rooms were like. We did not stay at the hotel, and checked out an hour after arrival once we had found somewhere else to stay. We were so relieved to leave that we were not concerned about losing the money for the nights we had pre-paid, as the manager would not give us a refund.
