English speaking reception with a sense of humour, forgot to return our passports on departure (we also forgot to ask and we are seasoned travellers) But hotel acted quickly and delivered our passports to the airport promptly. Just a travellers tip in Vietnam to avoid this - take a photocopy of your passport and keep your passport in secuirity but in this hotel no real security safes but I am sure no problem in this hotel. Great budget hotel - Good Value even though a few hiccups. Great roof top area for breakfast. Good city views...

During stay we were asked to give up the room from 5PM - 8Pm to allow some other travellers to use it for showering. A very odd request! At first we thought that this was not a choice but later foundout that we had a choice to say yes or no. We asked if we would be discounted and were offer only 10% dicount for the inconvenience. We declined to have the room used but were unhappy with the request and the explanantion! The restaurant was pleasant and food served was excellent. Staff there were very good. Breakfast was assorted ad buffet style which allowed for some choice.

There were a lot of instructions in the room about what one was not allowed to do, but little information about what one could do, e.g. whether there was room service. Breakfast was supposed to be available in the restaurant from 6:30 am, but some of the dishes sometimes did not arrive until nearly 7 am. Traffic noise from the very busy road alongside was surprisingly low.

we had a lovely stay here-although very brief. Staff were friendly and the room was well presented and very clean. We were right in the thick of things when it came to restaurants and nothing was very...
