This is fairly basic accommodation; the breakfast and laundry, in fact all services, are good. They are currently renovating some of the rooms. The real advantage is that it is in a quiet location in the Old Quarter- you don't hear the traffic! Once I found my bearings, I found it was just a short walk to the busy areas, however my personal choice would have been a more central location, noise and all....

Nice and huge rooms.Situated in a quiet side street.Old City easy easy to reach.Staff and breakfast average.English knowlege limited.Never seen management. Staff missed my awakening call.Got them up (guard and receptionist)at 04.30 in a dark hall.Nearly missed my plane home. If you are not dependant from a awakening call and staff and breakfast is unimportant to you use ATS Hotel.

For this hotel, we have reserved for 2 night but our schedule changed and we have changed to 3 night reservation at this site. Well, when we went there reception stuff told us that we only reserved for 2 nights and ask us pay more. The reception stuff are yelling at us to pay but we asked them to confirm the reservation with this site. Thanks to Live agent chat, the site agent quickly called this hotel and confirmed our reservation. However, this staff told us "It`s not my fault, it's not my job to confirm your reservation." Well, What kind of attitude towards customer is that? There are no manners what so ever. Other hotel we stayed, there was no problem at all. I've stayed a lots hotel in my life, but this hotel disgusted me and I don't want to use this hotel or hear again. Please anybody going to stay in hotel, re-consider to stay at this hotel and I'm sure you can find better place for stay in Hanoi.

I found this hotel to be definitely over-priced compared to similar hotels in the same area of Hanoi (in fact, others were much closer to the Old Town and therefoe more convenient). My hotel room was clean but a little small. The reception staff were not very friendly and seemed to just want to do the minimum when asked for information, assistance with safety deposit, booking a taxi, etc. Basically, they made me feel like I was 'bothering them' by asking for anything and they never smiled, just remained serious all the time. I felt safe in the hotel but not very welcome. I would probably not choose this hotel again, to be honest.

we had a lovely stay here-although very brief. Staff were friendly and the room was well presented and very clean. We were right in the thick of things when it came to restaurants and nothing was very...
