Dont book a villa room, for a nicer room you need to book in the building. The villa room had a horrible bathroom, it was old but kept clean. The water was brown, so brown you could see it.I think these rooms were good for what we paid but if booking villa you will be dissapointed.The rooftop resturant has amazing views, we were told we could eat there at 8 one night and came at 8 and told it was full, so very dissapointed. Staff very friendly and helpful.Location was awful as Halong city is not really for tourists, nothing to do, its a town for the vietnamese. But it was good as we were close to the warf for the tours on Halong bay which were a must, amazing.

Decoration of the room is 5 star standard (though we did not get the seaview facing Halong Bay) Receptionist is nice to let us have our late check-out. Breakfast is fabulous. Will definately want to stay there again the next time I travel to Halong Bay.
