Because of ongoing renovations, the lower lobby area was usually quite hectic and crowded. However, we were very comfortable in our room which was large enough, quiet and very clean. I would recommend this hotel since the location is quite good--espcially for those who visit San Francisco for shopping. Business people might prefer a hotel closer to the financial district.
