Located at the foot of the rocky Wasatch Mountains and stretching to the south shoreline of the Great Salt Lake, Salt Lake City boasts some of the country’s best scenery. Sundance Film Festival: this 10-day event, held at City Park, was founded by actor Robert Redford in 1981 and continues to be a magnet for hopeful newcomers to the movie industry and their supporters.

Salt Lake City is home to several tourist attractions and sightseeing options, many of which are linked with its importance as a religious centre. At the centre of Salt Lake City is Temple Square, which houses quite a few of the city’s leading attractions that include Salt Lake Temple, Assembly Hall, Seagull Monument and the Tabernacle.

Salt Lake City International Airport is the ideal gateway to Salt Lake City with international flights connecting many worldwide capitals, while regional airlines service the state of Utah and the surrounding states.

Featuring three main terminals and six concourse areas, airlines usually board from their designated terminal but this can be subject to change. Information desks can be found in the lobby of Terminal 1 and near the entrance of Concourse C in Terminal 2.
