Philadelphia was once the nation's capital and is also where America declared its independence on the 4^th of July, 1776. It is an incredibly historic city, boasting plenty of old charm while also being a major commercial hub and thriving metropolis.

Mummers Parade: this New Year's Day parade sees performers take to the streets and entertain the young and old. You will find comedians, musicians and artists, which can all be enjoyed while you are munching on a hot dog and a soft Philly pretzel.

Philadelphia International Airport can be found 11kms outside downtown Philadelphia and serves a number of domestic and international airlines. It is the main gateway into the city, seeing major airlines arriving and departing every day. It contains five large terminal buildings, each with their own range of amenities.
