Three major airports serve New York City. John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport and LaGuardia Airport are located in Queens, while Newark International Airport is in nearby New Jersey. In general, most international flights arrive at JFK, while LaGuardia primarily handles domestic flights. Newark Airport serves both international and domestic passengers.
