Stayed one night at the Sofitel Miami as we had an early flight out. Room was a good size with a king size bed. Though the airport is across the road the noise didn't really bother us at all. Bad points - room had a bit of a musty odour about it and the service for breakfast in the restaurant was very slow. Food was good although service was slow. Bar and restaurant areas were clean and well kept.
Room well equipped and comfortable bed.
While close to the airport there are not many other options for shopping / entertainment close by. Hotel runs a shuttel bus to the airport every 30 minutes...

For what it is - an aiport hotel where you normally stay 1 -2 nights i would thoroughly recommend this hotel. If you are looking for accomodation for a holiday in Miami then look elsewhere.
