When we asked the concierge for a good restaurant, he sent us on a walk that was to be 1.5 miles and turned out to be 3 miles, did not find food....came back ad saw the ones across the street...he should have told us the food was good at the Hacienda, or across the street. Bar was very friendly with good live music. Would definitely stay there again. Very easy toi get to from airport. Very clean and charming Spanish decor....

This is a basic hotel. Could be better, for sure, but the price you pay is not as bad as other reviews said. The hotel has Ralphs nearby, Subway sandwiches, and other small restaurants. . You have two small shopping malls nearby (5 minutes by taxi). The farest one has a JC Pennys and other small places (nothing special in my opinion). The other has a good book seller, and other places like Things and Linen. Near the hotel stops the bus 232 that takes you to Long Beach (haven't tried). The rooms are not superb, but mine was clean and good for one night stopover. I talked to other Japanese guest and she seemed confortable with her room. Of course, if you are expecting a better standard I suggest to stay the Century Boulevard in a brand hotel. You will pay more but you will feel better. In my case, I had to do some shopping before boarding my other plane, so the Hacienda was a good choice. Hope my review will help you.
