Excellent room rate for such a quality hotel. The room service and food outlets were expensive. The hotel connects to Houston's tunnel system which has many restaurants open for lunch. Most restaurants are not open for dinner in the downtown area. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious.
Staff was efficient and helpful. Great for downtown bussiness needs, but generally far from main shopping areas. Expensive room service (55$ for bacon eggs and pancakes), expensive lunch (30$ for burger) and expensive breakfast (10$ for coffe and a bagel). Great for downtown bussiness needs, but generally far from main shopping areas. Taxi's are readily available. There is also a shuttle for 12$ to the Galleria shopping area. A business center was available just off the elevators. It seemed reasonably quiet there and several computers and other equipment was available. May have been a manned business center.
