My husband and I went to celebrate my 50th birthday and we picked Turtle Island as a special and different place to go as we had never been there before. The service was slow and the staff was not very friendly nor helpful. The grounds are beautiful and nice and remote which is why we selected Turtle Bay. The one thing that was very disappointing was how outdated the rooms were! The fact that this hotel is the only resort in Turtle Bay, we most likely would not go back ever again and would go to another hotel for sure next time!
