Located in the southeast of Florida, Fort Lauderdale is famed for its beaches and boats and is affectionately known as the ‘Venice of America’ due to its extensive canal network. Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is the gateway to Fort Lauderdale and the most convenient airport to fly into, being just two miles south of downtown. Several major airlines as well as low-cost carriers fly here, including Southwest, Delta, Continental, and Spirit and JetBlue, and there are also limited charter flights from Europe.

Terrible food overpriced.Tour of the region was really bad but not fault of hotel Room could have been cleaner.5$ for a beach chair from the hotel is exxagerated...
