The airport operates a total of four terminals which are titled A through E and between them they serve domestic, South American, European and Pacific destinations. The terminals are interconnected by a free shuttle service that runs throughout the day and night.
Facilities at the airport are superb and cover all essentials as well as a great deal aimed at making passenger flying experiences considerably more comfortable and convenient. For financial affairs, you’ll find bureau de change counters in terminals A, B and E as well as a large number of ATMs and a post office. Fax and internet points are also on hand in all terminals.

Ground transportation options include buses, taxis and hotel shuttles, as well as hire cars for travellers preferring to make their own way to the city. The bus service is operated by the Dallas Area Rapid Transport (DART) and is frequent and speedy providing connection with the city centre in less than 40 minutes and at intervals of every 30 minutes throughout the day. Taxis are available from outside all of the terminal exit points.
A total of three parking lots serve the terminal and offer both short and long-term options. The main car park is within walking distance of all terminal buildings and offers a total of 28,000 spaces. The Express Park has 7,000 spaces and is located a little further away but connected with the terminals via a free shuttle. The remote car park is somewhat further away, has 4,800 spaces and is the cheapest option for long-term parking.

Public transportation comprising buses and trains is operated by the Dallas Area Rapid Transport (DART) providing regular, speedy and efficient services across a large network that covers a good proportion of the city. Visitors wishing to make their own way around during their vacation will find car rental agencies both in the city and at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Over 10 major highways serve Dallas making it an easy city to reach from surrounding destinations. From Houston you can take the I-45, from Austin and San Antonio, the I-35 and from the Mexican border, the I-20.
