Pharaohs golf course, near Corpus Christi, is a haven for coastal and migratory birds in the winters. They are also drawn to the nearby Hans and Pat Suter Wildlife Refuge, on the western shore of Oso Bay. And the summer months are big too, with Americans from colder Northern climes flocking here. In Heritage Park, a number of older restored houses are worth a look at.
