Clearwater experiences a tropical climate that sees year-round warm weather with particularly hot temperatures in the summertime between June and September. Also during the summer, high humidity and plenty of rain are common, making it somewhat uncomfortable. From December to May, the temperature averages between 15^oC and 27^oC coupled with less rain.

With the cooler temperatures and dryer, less humid days through December to May, visiting Clearwater at this time is most pleasant. The peak season is during the hottest time of the year from March to September, with crowds of people enjoying the beaches and waterways.
