Anaheim is located in a suburban area 30 miles to the south of Los Angeles and is synonymous with theme parks and family holidays. Home to Disneyland, the city is one of the most popular destinations for families from the US and abroad. There’s more than Disney here, though: Knott’s Berry Farm and California Adventure are also major attractions, with numbers of visitors increasing annually.
Kids are the whole reason this wonderland of theme parks was created. They can enjoy the street life of Downtown Disney, play in the water at Knott’s Soak City; and try out the coasters at Knott’s Berry Farm or LEGOLAND.

College Baseball: college action begins in January and continues through until June each year. There are a number of area teams to choose from, if you’re considering taking in a game during your visit.

Anaheim is known around the world as home to America’s most famous attraction: the truly magical theme park, Disneyland. The attraction opened its gates in the 1950s, putting Anaheim on the map as the centre for holidays for families from around the world, providing wholesome entertainment and fun for visitors of all ages.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is just over 30 miles from Anaheim. LAX is the world’s third-busiest airport and is serviced by 88 airlines, handling tens of thousands of flights each year. If you’re flying to the area domestically, you may want to avoid LAX by flying into John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana (Orange County). This facility is serviced by 12 domestic carriers and is only 16 miles from Anaheim. Many hotels near the Anaheim attractions provide free shuttle connections with the airport. Alternatively, you can take one of the commercial shuttle services. Taxis are plentiful and are found at taxis queues at the Ground Transportation Center on the terminal’s lower level. Car hire companies operating from the John Wayne Airport include Budget and Hertz, among others. If you’re driving to Anaheim, you’ll need to take California route 55 north to the junction of I-5 north and continue on until the Harbor Boulevard exit. From this point, follow the signs indicating ‘Theme Parks’.

Our second stay here and no complaints. Room is a great size, especially with children. A breaker went out in the room (only one outlet in bathroom and where the fridge is located) but we called main...
