Hotel is in bad need of renovation.Waking through Hotel corridor make feel like walking through hospital corridor,Bathrooms are extremely poor.
Bed seems to be used of the same year when hotel might have been built.
Pillows were of third class qufality so guest can never sleep.
Hotel is 6 levels, and my room was at 6th level, and still I could hear the sound of disco music of the hotel clubm and also of traffic.

Noise levels from entertainment areas was excessive. This was not conducive for holidaymakers who, after a long days outing need to have a restful sleep. Noise from the Jockey Club continued to the early parts of the morning sometimes ending as late as 3am. This was most disturbing and it seemed as if hotel staff could do nothing about it!

The front desk staff were very unfriendly and unkind. The bar on the ground floor was noisy. The only thing that I can give a good mark is house keeping.

Panorama at the Burj is famous for the English pub downstairs for Chinese, Russian and Middle eastern prostitutes. I had to asked to be moved from the 1st floor because the music from the pub and disco was so loud that you could not sleep. If peace and quite is what you want forget this place. Dubai is now insanely so busy in the morning that it took me 1 hour to get a taxi from the hotel. Burj, Deira, Sharja are the place you need to avoid because it's Jam, Jam and Jam all day with traffic. They didn't even supply drinking water in the room. The Airconditioning wall unit was ridiculesly noisy. They don't have any facilities such as internet. It's a major hassle trying to get to one outside. The Philipino receptionist was friendly and helpful. Everyone else was useless and this goes for the coffee shop which was Indian run. Orange juice is powdered mix with tons of sugar. The toaster kept burning the toast. English pub on the ground floor, at the other end of the hall is a russian disco and more bars on the 1st floor and they put up a door with a latch on the 1st floor stair going up so they can block the only fire escape. There are buildings after buildings selling notebook computers. Some small restaurants and other hotels with restaurants but there is no major shopping nearby. This area is famous for Prostitutes, they line up after the bars closed at 3am to pickup customers. It's a sight to be seen when you think that you are in a muslim country. Not a chance in this town, sin, sin, sin and sin some more. Can't get a taxi in the morning. On Tuesday at 5:45am I had problems hauling a taxi for the airport. Lucky I got one and didn't miss my flight. The previous 4 days was poor hell in getting a taxi. Every morning I waited no less than 40 minutes for a taxi. In the evenings between 5~8pm taxis simply refuses to goto the nearby shopping center(City Center) because it would take 2 hours to cross this bridge bumper to bumper traffic. If you are on the 3rd floor and below you are not going to get any sleep without earplugs. I had to move to the 4th floor and still I could hear the music from the ground floor pub and discos.
