We were pleasantly surprised by the room size, standard of cleanliness and the hotel staff who were all very friendly and helpful except for the man on duty when we checked out at 6.30am. We did not use the mini-bar (water was far cheaper in the supermarket across the road) and when we refused to pay for water that he said we had used from the mini-bar he became exceptionally rude and unpleasant saying we must pay because the bill was already written out and couldn't be retracted. This was also happening to a Russian couple who spoke very little English. In the end we asked for the Night Manager who settled the matter very calmly by asking if everything else had been satisfactory and telling the man to cancel the bills and hand over our passports.

The reception staff were rude and unhelpful.
Our booking was for two people, but the hotel initially provided a single room, then later transferred us to a double room.
They tried to charge us extra for double occupancy, then backed down when i shouted at them!
On 3 out of 5 mornings, the wrong breakfasts were delivered by room service.
Reception staff lost a document faxed to the hotel for my attention.
Very bad service in general.
