I stayed in the hotel for 9 days. It was good for what we paid. very quite, very calm. I hated the fact that the breakfast was the same everyday... I CANT CHOSE. when my daughter wanted cornflakes each day they have to ask me YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY EXTRA. I wanted to ask for some other food but no good.
I came for lunch and what ever I asked was not avalible and the ones that were avalible they came back and said we only have one of this or one of that.
So we decided not to go to resturant at all.
I called one day and asked can i have the breakfast brought up they said NO.
Food is the best thing about my holiday and if my hotel doesnt provide me proper food. you would be a bit degraded.Oh well we went out most of the time. I booked the safari and cruise from the hotel and then found out they charged me an arm and a leg and it there was cheaper outside and better value then your money. I rented a car but because the hotel doesnt have its own parking I had to return the car the same day ( MONEY GONE DOWN THE DRAIN ).
I asked for taxi service They warned me that it will take a long time and its best to walk ????? that was odd.The front of the hotel was nice but setting area was rebuilt 3 days out of the 9 days that i stayed. GOOD PRECENTAGE I SUPPOSE.
Did not apreciate the aircon in my room. but aparently the hotel is replacing all of them. JUST NOT IN MY ROOM I SUPPOSE. I had to wait 40 minute before the room became cold. DONT GET ME WRONG, I WOULD RECOMMEMND THE HOTEL FOR ONE THING ONLY. the price is right, the location is good, the area is OK. not fantastic but ok. I walked from the hotel to almost all of the near by shopping with my wife and daughter so it was fun. I didnt stay much in the hotel so it was alright for what I paid.but on friday during the holiday day. You would want to stay in the hotel and I noticed that the hotel HAS not good reciption on the TV. I asked them to check it out and they said SURE SURE. but no left with out seeing the 20 Channels in good reciption.

Whilst not an expensive, this hotel is over-priced in the light of room standard and services offered. Unfortunately we arrived during Ramadan and that would have contributed to the poor service but it is inconceivable that for any hotel catering for tourists would have to order in fast food so that we could eat in our room. Water pressure was almost not existent in our room and did not improve during our stay. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was really poor, on one day taking 45 minutes to get a continental breakfast.

I always thought of Dubai as the best place to visit. I have travelled all over the world but unfortunately this was the worst hotel. I stayed in Al Sham hotel on previous evaluation , but it was a disappointment. The hotel was very smelly from smoking. The mouqate had a lot of dirty spots. The television wa small and had no remote control. The sheets had holes in from smoking. There was no basket bin and had to request one. The air condition was noisy and not cooling enough even when it was on maximum. The shower curtains were not clean and old in the first room and had to change the room. The basin around it was not clean. The curtains in the lobbey not beeing washed for ages, and by now has new colour from the effect of smoking. The breakfast had very limited choices, no salads,no teabags, no hot water and had to request special hot water which was provided. The dining tables had no cloth cover or tissue. The staff were friendly. There suposed to be some trees outside but all died ages ago and never been replaced. Definitely I will not stay there again in the future.
