Overall I found my stay at the Sapphire Hotel to be very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was adequate and clean, and the location was excellent - within walking distance to all sites that are important to tourists. One problem was that the air-conditioning in the room was a bit weak, but it was bearable. I had a single room and found it to be more than adequate.

Overall I found my stay at the Sapphire Hotel to be very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was adequate and clean, and the location was excellent - within walking distance to all sites that are important to tourists. One problem was that the air-conditioning in the room was a bit weak, but it was bearable. I had a single room and found it to be more than adequate.

A very diversified spread for breakfast with a lot of choices. Very central location within walking distance to all sites that are important to tourists. Yet, it was still very quiet in the room.
Just a few minutes walk to the nearest Metro station and also to the Sirkeci train station. I only had to use a taxi once and that was to get to the airport early in the morning before public transportation started running.
As for price and value for money, I would NOT stay there if I had to pay the rack rate advertised on the hotel's website. However, the price I got through HotelTravel.com made it a good deal.
