i am very satisfied with "grand star hotel". the location of the hotel is the best that a traveller can have in istanbul, in the centre of the city next to all transportation, facilities, shopping, nightlife..the hotel has great view to bosborus and the rooms were clean. i suggest this hotel to all the travellers who want to have a comfortable and nice accommodation in istanbul......

Good Hotel for the price you pay. Excellent location, close to nightlife, transportation etc. Good seize rooms with terrific views of the bosphorus. However, we were disappointed at the end of the trip when the hotel charged us for making phone calls from the room even though we used a calling card. In my opinion phone charges were very excessive so stay away from using the in room phone. Other than that a pleasant stay and a decent hotel. Some of the staff are a little rude and very few understand english.
