staff were courteous and friendly. They went out of their way to make our first visit to Thailand memorable. We will certainly return. Breakfast was a delight and the location of the hotel was perfect.

Excellent location, although building work and road being laid for drainage was a nuisance. Hotel very good except for swimming pool, which appeared grimy and the green colour water was not at all inviting. Appeared to be laid with plastic sheeting rather than tiles. Otherwise an exceptionally good hotel with helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Could do with a little entertainment or a separate bar. Would use again. Cleaned very well with towell changes daily. Good size rooms. Could do with a bar, other than the one used in the restaurant otherwise facilities all very good, except swimming pool which looked grimy. Could do with being tiled on bottom. Most uninviting.

Only one restaurant which covered as hotel bar. Very good service.
Was not aware of any childcare availability, but did not require this in any event.

This hotel is absolutely lovely. The rooms are large, clean and nicely furnished and decorated. When you arrive there is a beautiful fresh flower arrangement and a basket of fresh fruit. Located right on, what I consider to be, the nicest beach on Koh Samui. The breakfasts were excellent and the other meals we had at the hotel were very good but a little more expensive than the local restraurants. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and close to other places by taxi. It's only small and doesn't have as many facilities as a large hotel but what it has is first class and a nice atmosphere. The whole place was spotless. The staff were all really friendly and helpful...they couldn't do enough for you. The staff would order you a taxi whenever you wanted and they run a free pick up and drop poff to the airport. Located on a quiet beach and the road isn't very busy. I stayed with my husband and 19 year old daughter and we all loved the place.

The jungle gardens outside the cottages and lining the walkways are fabulous! Traditional Thai statues and rain barrels decorating the walkways are plentiful and attractive, adding a wonderfully exotic touch. The beartifully decorated front entry and lobby area is likewise exotic and inviting.
The rectangular pool is on the small side and being salt water... well, a big disappointment for an ohterwise fine resort. The poolside restaurant is small but okay however the poolside bar is visually uninteresting and the music was appalling(!) The beach is clean with excellent soft, white sand with shallow water even at high tide but no breakers for the kids to frolic in. Good for families with 3-6 yr olds but my 8 yr old demands surf! The low off-season rate was worth the looksee.

What better place to enjoy boat racing than sunny Koh Samui. This is an international event with hundreds of entries.

Buddha’s birthday
Thais celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Local Wats (Buddhist Temples) celebrate by holding candlelit processions. A tourist may take part in these parades and it can prove great fun.

Sees Thai Buddhists celebrating Buddhist lent, the full moon festival. One can view Buddhist temples throughout the year, but this tradition can be picturesque due to the activity of the saffron robed followers.
