Sand Sea Resort & Spa is a perfect place to relax or enjoy the excitement of leisure activities and the pleasures of a tranquil retreat.
The Sand Sea Resort is a small scale resort offering bungalows and a few new hotel rooms at reasonable rates. The recently added Junior Suites in the hotel building are new and clean and are located right by the big swimming pool. The Royal Suites at the beachfront would be recommended. The resort also offers a small spa plus a restaurant and a bar. The beach right in front of the resort is very good.

The only complaint my hubby has is that the resort is not located along the main road. We had to walk a further short distance before reaching the resort and the lane was pretty dark at night. ...

Good location away from the main centre but easily walking distance, however the lane to the main road is often unlit and very dark at night. Breakfast is average but not much choice, pool is lovely and resort is right on the beach. Would not recommend standard garden view rooms but we were upgraded to superior room and this was very nice and much more spacious.

The sea dirty - hotel between drains of two rivers. In a bungalow there are ants, there is no phone. Promised wi-fi works only in a zone reception and it is very expensive. Negative it is compensated by the benevolent personnel and good kitchen. The pool is on a regular basis cleaned

Originally we booked a standard garden view bungalow. However when we arrived & saw we were somewhat disappointed as we were booked to stay for 6 nights (think hut, shack Tenko ! too basic for us old people !!) Anyway we spoke to the extremely accommodating reception staff & they were able to offer us an upgrade to their new block for an extra cost but well worth it.Our subsequent room can only be descibed as palatial, huge room & bed, separate living area with full TV entertainment system, separate jacuzzi bath & shower, separate loo & wash & dressing room. I have to say the location was idyllic a stones throw from the beach & walking distance from many other amenities. The pool & surrounding area were perfect plus own private loungers for the beach area.The restaurant was amasingly good value for money, in fact as well as breakfast which was lovely we ate there every lunch time & most evenings. Superb food,wonderful staff, I would thoroughly recommend this location to everyone. PS They have taken note of previous remarks & provided lighting on the path from the resort to the main road.

We stayed in a superior bungalow with a beautiful extraordinary bathroom. Pool was okay but we did not use the pool area due to construction works (new building) close to it. Open air breakfast room direct at the beach but buffet was a little bit poor.
Result: Superior bungalows are clean and adequate. Hotel can be recommended due to good price relationship.
