Sandra from Australia stayed in a Grand seaside villa for 6 days.
My husband & I just spent 6 wonderful nights at Samui Paradise Chaweng. We booked a Grand Seaside Villa and it was lovely - about 15 steps to the beach. The hotel is located at the furthest southern end of Chaweng Beach - the absolute best part of Chaweng Beach. The water was lovely and clean with lots of waves. We were so sad to leave our piece of paradise - fur us it was the perfect place to enjoy Ko Samui, and we will definitely return to this hotel again. Also, hoteltravel.com is an excellent agent and there were no problems.

The service of the staff was very good, friendly, helpfull.
The little cottages are surrounded by beautiful green palsm, trees, flowers and well maintained. No animals, bugs etc in the cottages.
There are just enough sunbeds on the beach and beside the swimming pool for all the guests. Usually you could still get a bed on the beach around 11 o'clock in the morning, so no need to rush your breakfast for a bed.
The restaurant is a little basic, although everything looks very good, the taste isn't very special. The hotel was perfect, the quality of the restaurant didn't 'fitt'with the hotel. Breakfast though is truly excellent.
Location was beautiful right on the beach (at south side of the beach so more quiet then in the middle or north side of the beach).
close to shops, tailors, supermarkets, restaurants etc
we had a good time there

we stayed at the chaweng resort for our honeymoon. the resort was situated towards the end of chaweng beach. our villa was nice though a bit small. the bathroom was very luxurious. the beach bar served nice drinks.the breakfast menu had nice selection of dishes. we throughly enjoyed our stay.
p.S; there was a cocktail party at the breach (arranged by the resort). that served free drinks and snacks:)

Best part of the beach, a little bit away from the hustle bustle and all in all a great place to stay. Only complaint is that breakfast was always cold.

Lovely location at end of bay - away from crowds. Easy tuk tuk ride into Chaweng centre. Hotel food not the best (or the most reasonable price - better going out into town). But all in all - a great stay and beautiful place. Everything provided by hotel - beach towels, beds, even a beach bag!!!!!!
We stayed in Grand Seaside Villa - would describe as small but cosy - just mind banging your knees on corner of bed!!!!

A HotelTravel.com Member from Switzerland stayed in a Standard bungalow for 7 days.
the bungalow we got, was behind the main street and was -during the day- quite noisy. The hotel is one of the last at chaweng beach, so it was off the centre but also very peaceful. the beach and the water was excellent, clean. We got everty day fresh towels, also for the beach. Great! there was a clean swimmingpool, a lot of sunchairs and umbrellas. There was also free internet in the lobby.Breakfast was excellent, and so was dinner.there was a lot of staff in the restaurant, so nobody of the guests had to wait at any time

First we stayed in a standard bungalow because we were told that the superiour room was fully booked. The standard bungalows are situated along the beach road and really need an update. Especially the Bathroom which is spacious but the walls are full with moisture spots and also some ceiling plates were broken. The superiour room was better and situated near the Beach nice view when sitting on your porch! However, I tried to book the superior Bungalow in first instance and was told that they were fully booked. During our stay it appaers that there were superior rooms available. When we asked the reception it appaers that they do not rent the superior rooms through the agencies, they keep them for own guests who book directly at the resort!! Not all the superiour rooms are the same. There are superiour rooms which have seaview, but there are also renovated standard bungalows in the garden named superiour after the renovation. Breakfast is really good and served in the restaurant near the beach, eating breakfast and enjoy the sunrise or dinning and enjoy the sunset is really beautifull. The restaurant is not cheap for instance you pay 150Bht for Chicken Cashew + 10% + 7% tax and service charge while you can eat the same meal in town for 65Bht nett. Internet service for free however the connection is really slow. Staff is very friendly. When we checked out they offered us a room and towels for a shower. They also brought us to the airport for 300Bht while we paid 500Bht for a t
What better place to enjoy boat racing than sunny Koh Samui. This is an international event with hundreds of entries.
