Best Western Samui Bayview is the most wonderful hotel we have stayed on in Thailand. We have a DL room with seeview. Very big room and a very big balcony. The pools was excelent. The stuff was very, very nice and helpsam. Breakfest excelent. If you want to bath in the ocean, you must take the shuttle to Lamai or Chaweng, but the pools was so wonderful so we bath in them during our 22 days. If you want to eat at he hotel you have a beatiful view over the ocean and the prices is normal....

Loved this Hotel, The pool was terrific, with spectacular views, Rooms were clean and sizeable. Although a small distance away from Chawang and Lamai beaches the hotel provided a shuttle which was great. Would stay here again!

I love this hotel, it should be one of the best hotel in Samui while not very expensive. The only disadvantage is its location, not so convenient to Chaweng beach. But excellent SPA, steak, seaview and room facility. You can't miss it!

Best kept budget secret on the island. Superb view!! The seller is the view from the pools and the rooms. Get the ocean view!! Negatives: average food, terrible fitness center. Overall: Would happily stay there again!

For sure a good value for money. My family and I love the swimming pools. Excellent staff, always smiling and making a concrete effort to please the guests. For sure one of the highlights of this hotel. One thing I appreciated is that the staff was the same from my last stay, one year ago, and they remembered me and my family. From my last stay the fitness center and the leisure area has improved. A facelift was under progress in some rooms, which created noise and bad smell around them. Beautiful location. Peaceful and away of the noise of the popular beaches. Perfect. The restaurant is good and beautiful. The breakfast should include cheese and chocolate milk for the kids. I missed the night shuttle to Chaweng, however it is easy and cheap to move around in Samui.

It would be better if staff can improve their command of English as we took sometime to explain whenever we had questions/requests. Many facilities at the recreation room were broken or worn out. Other than that, we are very happy with the hotel, staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the environment is what we wanted, quiet but near to the main streets, only took less than 10 mintues to Chaweng by scooter. View from hotel is fantastic. Will definitely stay there again if we visit Samui again.

Great view of the bay from the public areas and your own room. The service was very good, but it was low season. Lot's of work on the hotel being done, saws and hammers going on for most of the day's. We got a lot of attention from the staff as there were only about 5-8 rooms being rented out. Has a pool table, but no balls. Only balls for snooker, would of loved to play 8 ball. Nice place to relax and do nothing. More of a family place not for singles.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews in this site and they proved to be correct. The value for money is excellent. The shuttle to the beaches is fun and works very well. The views from the restaurant and swimming pools are superb. The garden view room is OK and the bayview room is excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful and willing to communicate in English. I want to go back! For families: I don't think this hotel is advisable for people with small children. Children play area is not maintaned. Only alternative is the swimming pools, that can be dangerous for small kids because they are close to high cliffs.

Really a nice place. Comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and fabulous view. Stay in the delux room. It's worth it. Since it is up on the hill, transport can be a problem, although shuttle bus service to Chaweng and Lamai is provided. But no problem if you are going to rent a car or scooter.

First impression carries a lot and we were impressed. Our delux sea view room had a private balcony, sufficiently romantic. the resturant on top of the sea is a perfect place to unwind. The only complaint - we could not make the staffs understand that we wish to arrange a candle-light dinner on our balcony! Either language problem, or they were not properly equipped.

Excellent accommodations are provided by Poppies except poor air-conditioned bathroom. I would recommend stay at this hotel when you visit Koh Samui in near future....
