We have found the Thai people to be the most accommodating, helpful people. This was also seen at the Peace Resort. The staff tried their hardest to help us. Our room was at the back and it was quiet but also hot and had mosquitoes. Nearer the beach, there was a breeze and fewer mosquitoes. Too bad that we couldn't be closer to the front. I also thought that Peace may not be a place for young couples because of the age group of the guests, but then it changed the next week to a combination. Bophut Beach is definitely quieter than Chaweng, though the sand isn't as nice. Scott Rapsey , Australia
I think that we were misled by the photos on the internet site. The actual room we were in had not been been refurbished like the ones in the photos and I'm not sure how many of them were/were not. I would have chosen a different hotel if I had known. We did ask to be moved but were told the hotel was booked out. We did not get what we paid for. Alfred Boyes, United Kingdom
This resort was right on the beach. My husband & i stayed here after spending time in Bangkok & Chaing Mai. It was a lovely relaxing end to our holiday. Our detached bungalow type room was excellent, very spacious & kept very clean by the daily maid service. The buffet style breakfast was served outside overlooking the beach (great start to the day) The food was plentiful & delicious. This was an ideal get away from it all resort. The main town was a taxi ride away but other resturants along the beach were easily reached by foot. The reception staff were very helpfull (especially when we found out our return flight had been cancelled!) They went out of their way to help us. Booking with HotelTravel.com was very easy & i would definately recomend their service. A HotelTravel.com Member, France
