Napasai Resort (Formerly Pansea Samui) will seduce you. Here guests will be treated to true Thai hospitality with a few added extras that all help to make your holiday in the tropics, one to be remembered for years to come and sees guests returning year after year.
The Napasai is located on Meanam beach but is built against a small cliff. This gives the resort natural charm. The 55 cottages and 14 villa’s are all stylishly decorated in a nice traditional, yet modern looking, Thai style. Two and three bedroom pool villas are also available making it a good choice for larger parties. Two restaurants, a bar, a spa and a nice horizon edge swimming pool complete this overall very nice resort. The beach tends to be a little rocky during low tide however.

The hotel facilities are amazing yet you need to drive around 25 -25 to the nearest shopping area Chewang. The villas are spacious and I don't see any difference between the beach front rooms or the beach view ones since neithor one have access to the beach front. ( You can enjoy the view but cannot walk out to from your villa/cottage to the beach infront of you.) The hotel has calm atmosphere ( good for honeymooners, an excellent massage center, food is wooooow and if you need internet, wireless internet connectivity is available in the recepetion and pool bar areas. The best feature is the pool and grounds running down to the beach: spacious , green and peaceful. The villas are comfortable, but there is only a table & chairs on the "deck" : no loungers (nor space for them). The breakfasts are "OK", but nothing special given its supposed to be 4*, and the outside eating area is a bit crampt. Food might be OK for many folk, but for vegetarians it was very poor: they failed even to produce a decent veg fried rice, and didn't seem to know of tofu. Its location is also a problem : its a long way to Chaweng. Bo Phut /Fishermans village is not bad, but you really need to get to Chaweng for nightlife. The roads round there flood in rain making travel tricky. Not sure we'd go again. Try Tongsai Bay instead.

Room was spacious, big bath, kept very clean nicely situtated with lovely light. Hotel was v busy with children first few days and noisy -once they left it was idyllic. Pool fantastic, food good, enthusiastic staff, taxi service expensive. better access to Mae nam would be appreciated. On site dive shop not as helpful as those down town. Would certainly stay at this hotel again
