Coral Bay Resort & Spa, Koh Samui is tucked away on 10 acres of coconut-palm covered hillside that slopes gently down to the secluded beach. The stone and wooden bungalows merge with the profusion of tropical greenery, which all help to make this a superb holiday location and a real escape from the pressures of the "real world".
The mostly wooden bungalows at the Coral Bay Resort & Spa are very spacious in design and all have a private balcony. The bungalows together with the gardens give a very authentic feel to this resort. Room categories include (Beachfront) Deluxe Double, Superior Family, (Beachfront) Deluxe Family and Baan Chomjan. Due to the space they are very suitable for families, especially the double units where rooms are separated but still under the same roof. Together with a spa, swimming pool, restaurant and a nice beach this is a good choice for people that like the cottage style.

SIMPLY HEAVENLY...koh samui and coral bay! We had booked a superior bungalow and to our complete surprise they UPGRADED us in the deluxe bungalow FREE of CHARGE!!! Beautiful hotel and great service..we saw ALL other hotels in that area..nothing even COMPARES to coral bay..it has to be the BEST vacation EVER..amazingggg bed, bathroom, side tables, dressing tables, furnishings...DIVINE!!!! ...

I loved this resort very much, visited it for the second time and planning on returning again. The only downside is the beach.. i.e. the sea, which is not very good for swimming due to dead corrals. The resort is very beutiful, in a large tropical garden, bungalows are spatious and very nicely furnished, incl. tv and dvd player, AC, watterfall shower, each of them has a spacious veranda, either overlooking sea or the garden. There is a nice pool with wonderfully clear watter, purifyied via oxygen. Restaurant serves very good food (breakfast buffee is delicious) for quite reasonable prizes. You can have a candlelight dinner setup on your terrace for no extra cost, same for any dining in your room - prizes are the same as in the restaurant. There is a spa in the resort, nice decor and pleasant treatments, it is quite expansive compared with other spas in Samui, however good prize if compared with prizes in Europe. Wi-fi connection is available in the bungalows, it is not the fastest one, but works just fine. Staff is very very friendly.

This hotel was fantastic, the rooms were beautifully and tastefully furnished, large and the waterfall shower was a nice feature. The beach was beautiful, very quiet and clean yet the main Chaweng strip was only a 5 minute taxi ride away. The resort fits nicely into the surroundings, the staff cannot be more helpful and everything is wonderfully maintained.
The only negative points for me were the breakfast (which although still adequate) was not particularly extensive, with only a limited selection. Perhaps it is more extensive during busier periods (the hotel was very quiet during our stay).
The other negative point is not the fault of the hotel its self but would have been nice to know was that there is a hotel being built directly next door. Although they do try to keep the noise down it could sometimes be quite noisy amidst the serenity of this part of the island.
Overall I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

Beautiful setting, close enough to walk to restaurants, bars and shops but far enough away for a peaceful escape. Excellent room ( beach front villa) with amazing grounds, tropical garden and very private. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

The beach in Coral Bay Resort is the wost of Chaweng. Coral Bay Resort is not a 4 stars hotel, I found some cockroachs everyday inside my room walking on my clothes...how disgusting! And sometimes I found lizards as well, I couldn´t believe it! How do they clean my room?!! The rooms and reception is not what you see in the photos in internet... Everything was a disapointment for us and it was our honey moon. I never go back there again.
