We booked a hotel with very high compliment by people for 9 days on this website before we took this trip. It was turned out to be an disapointement because it was not on the beach. We called the hoteltravel agent, each one of them was so helpful especially the Samui agent, Traci is such a wonderful lady. We moved to this hotel after we searched on the beach. It is a beautiful hotel with bangalow, the best beach on Chaweng areas. We got our holiday back while we were thinking it was ruined by the other hotel. the location is so convenient and just opposit, there are seafood restaurants and bar...

Rooms were large and basically furnished. Only one English channel on t.v. Beds were super hard and took getting used to. Insufficient number of chairs on the beach and around the pool. People would get up early and place their towel on them to reserve so unless you got one by 8:00 a.m. you were out of luck. The food was mediocre but there are many restaurants around the area. The location of the resort was excellent. On the beach and right in town. Was disappointed to see how much gargage is in the water and on the beach. In a few years it will no longer be nice. The resort does clean up their beach each morning. The staff in each part of the resort were very nice and accomodating. For a three star this resort is really worth the money.

We HATED staying at Chaweng Buri - It was untidy, dirty, stray dogs were everywhere in the resort, mould was in the bathroom, there were tiles missing, plaster missing in the bathroom. Hotel transport to airport was fine and you are able to hire cars from hotel reception area. We were very close to the beach end so did not hear any street noise. If people walked past and were talking you could hear them, but nothing too bad.
