The staff very kindly upgraded us to a family room free of charge from the double room we originally booked. We had our 2 young children (3 and 5 yrs) with us. This room was very spacious with a king and single bed as well as a small table and chairs. We stayed on the ocean side of the hotel and found it very convenient for the beach. Also close to shops and other restaurants. There is a pool in each wing (ocean and lakeside wing). Unfortunately, we only used the pool in the lakeside wing on our last day. The ladies at the reception desk are very friendly and helpful but need seriously to improve their english! I was very surprise to hear and speak better english in the breakfast room than in the reception desk!Otherwise, my children and I (my husband could not make it) felt very safe and happy with the staff.

I have stayed at this hotel four times and always find it very good. The staff are always very friendly and the facilities and location are good, being right in the middle of Chewang Beach. The hotel's restaurant is being updated and so we should enjoy that when we return next year.

It was much smaller than the one in the ocean wing, but was also less used and quieter, plus it had the added bonus of being nicely shaded in the afternoon - perfect for our children after a full morning in the sun! We would happily stay in this hotel again.

I have stayed at this hotel at least three times, the last time another couple accompanied us. We all agreed that it was indeed value for money. We have stayed at several other resorts on Chaweng Beach including the Central, the Beachcomber but find that the friendly service at Chaba second to none and also that fact that it is so central to everything along Chaweng Beach and shopping areas. Comfortable bed, good view from balcony, always cleaned and serviced, and any request complied with. Nice pool, nice breakfast, nice staff.

This is a superb hotel, nice big pool for the kids. Right on the beach, the staff were evry helpful. I recommend this hotel.
