Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa (formerly Buriraya Resort & Spa) is the place to be if you want to be treated like a star or are simply looking for that true holiday escape. This stunning property is set among lush tropical gardens and elegantly Asian surroundings. Spacious guest rooms and villas are luxuriously furnished and provide a stylish, private space for an unforgettable holiday. The Renaissance is located on Lamai Beach. They offer 78 rooms of which 45 are deluxe (located in the back across the road) and 33 are villas (located in the front). The deluxe rooms all have a whirlpool tub and de villas offer a small plunge pool. All rooms are nicely decorated in a traditional Thai style but with a modern touch. The resort can be used for corporate meetings as well as they offer meeting facilities for up to 150 people.

We have stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years. Service levels have declined but hotel only about 10% full in peak season, we had to ask several times for our villa courtyard to be cleaned, prices way over the top by any standard.
